🔥Key Takeaways 🔥
Most of the time, life doesn’t need more—it needs space.
You’re either winning or learning—but either way, you’re probably tired.
My new(ish) ebook that you probably didn’t get.

Sometimes Salvation Sounds Like Silence
There’s a clip I saw recently on a music podcast about The Black Crowes that stuck with me.
The host said:
“I fell in love with them because of the music they didn’t play.”
He was talking about Sometimes Salvation.
If you’ve heard it, you know what he means.
The intro isn’t rushed.
It breathes.
There’s space between the notes—
silence that makes the guitar hit harder when it finally comes in.
It’s a good reminder of something we forget:
Silence isn’t empty.
It’s doing work.
We tend to think more is better.
I tend to think more is better.
But most of the time, it’s the opposite.
In conversations, the guy who fills every silence usually says a lot of nothing.
At home, if every minute is scheduled and every weekend is packed,
there’s no room left for connection.
In my own life, when everything feels overwhelming,
it’s usually not because I’m missing something—
it’s because I’ve added too much.
Music gets better when you leave space.
So does your life.
You don’t need to fill every moment.
You don’t need to say something in every silence.
You don’t need to say yes to everything.
Sometimes the best move is to step back.
To leave space.
To let things breathe.
Because what you don’t do is what gives everything else weight.

Seconds until sunrise,
Tired but wiser for the time
There’s something simple in that line.
You don’t come out of every season energized.
Sometimes you come out tired.
But if you’re paying attention, you always come out wiser.
